Intersection Channelization Design

TQC has designed over 40 isolated intersections in New York and New Jersey. TQC’s philosophy is to design traffic signals keeping maintenance needs in mind and specify equipment that the client is capable of maintaining. The latest technology is used where feasible but not to the extent that the client ends up continuously debugging the equipment.

The firm has extensive experience designing federally funded projects to meet all state and federal requirements in a timely manner.

In many projects, it is necessary to add capacity to intersections by widening and channelization. Over half of the projects involved the design of roadway plans for street widening.
